It is currently operating and is hosted at the “Laser Lab. Facility” of Elettra - Sincrotrone Trieste (PP1).
Since January 2014, the laser is operating at UNG campus in Ajdovščina.
The laser source is used to generate high order harmonics in noble gases.
The HHG facility, developed by the LUXOR laboratory (PP2), consists of:
1. Generation chamber, with gas cell
2. Monochromator which can work in
- classical configuration (high energy resolution)
- “conical” configuration (high temporal resolution)
3. Toroidal refocussing mirror
